Our cottages lie in a very quiet area directly at the Aegean Sea. They are built in the traditional way from natural stone and marble. Each cottage is suitable for two adults and one to two children. All cottages have their own veranda with a breathtaking view of the sea.

The interior

Each cottage consists of one room divided by a curtain into a bedroom area and a living room area with kitchenette. The cottages are furnished in the traditional style with marble floors and tiles, with wood and handwoven curtains. In the bedroom area are two beds or a double bed (Cottage Liondári), a wardrobe and a small dresser. The sofa in the sitting room area can be opened into two separate beds. The kitchenette includes two hot plates, an electric kettle and a refridgerator with freezer compartment. It is fully equipped with pots, dishes and cutlery. A beautiful stone-built fireplace can be used on chilly evenings in autumn and winter; also the cottages are equipped with air conditioning. Each cottage has a full bathroom with shower and WC; and a washing machine is available for all four cottages together. Sheets and towels are provided.

On the property

An open kitchen in between the lower cottages can be used by all the guests, with an electric stove with oven, a large fridge with freezer and a wood oven which can also be used for grilling. A large pergola covered with grapevine is ideal for the hot hours of the summer days with a huge marble table and two smaller tables providing ample space for reading, working or eating. The property includes a large vineyard, fig and olive trees and vegetable gardens. Depending upon the season (and the weather conditions), we provide our guests with fresh organically grown vegetables from the garden (mainly in spring and early summer). You can also try local organic olive oil and our own excellent wine.

The beach

Directly next to the property lies a small, clean sand beach with crystal clear water ideal for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. On the rocks close by stands the idyllic chapel Ágios Dimítris. In the area one can visit – either on foot or by car – many more beaches and small bays.

Directly in front of the property lies a small beautiful sand beach.

The fine sand is ideal for building sand castles.

The area

The Holiday homes Azalas belong to the small settlement Ágios Dimítris, that lies amidst fields and olive groves, with shrub, maquis and small woods covering the surrounding hills, everywhere dominated by the idyllic view of Cape Stavrós on the other side of the bay. If you want to explore the area on foot and like to take a stroll away from roads or paths, you can discover many amazing places near Azalás. The next village, the small harbour settlement of Moutsouna with several taverns and a well-stocked mini market, lies in about 2,5 km distance (1.2 miles).
