Naxos offers wonderful possibilites for activities, though for many of them you have to go to Naxos-town. The island is famous for windsurfing – due to the constant north wind in summer it is one of the best places for this water sport in Europe. Other great activities are snorkeling, Scuba diving and ocean kayaking, or you can participate in a sailing tour or a boat trip. For children the AquaFun-Park with water slides and swimming pools is attractive. Very recommended are also the hiking tours with Stella. Further you can go biking or horse riding on the beaches close to town.
