{"id":77966,"date":"2026-03-20T19:36:17","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T17:36:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azalas.de\/?p=77966"},"modified":"2026-03-21T10:49:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T08:49:16","slug":"flora-der-makares-inseln","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/azalas.de\/el\/flora-der-makares-inseln\/","title":{"rendered":"Flora der Makares-Inseln"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/photos\/makares\/flora\/cistaceae\/cistus_parviflorus-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h1>Die Flora der Makares-Inseln<\/h1>\n<div>F\u00fcr die Makares-Inseln \u00f6stlich von Naxos sind &#8211; nach dem &#8220;Atlas of the Aegean Flora&#8221; von Arne Strid &#8211; bislang etwa 150 Pflanzenarten verzeichnet: Im Vergleich zu Naxos mit seinen etwa 1000 Arten eine \u00fcberschaubare Zahl! Dabei ist nicht nur interessant, was f\u00fcr Arten auf den Inseln vorkommen, sondern auch, welche Arten fehlen. Man kann jede der Inseln in einem Tag bequem begehen; so r\u00fcckt ein vollst\u00e4ndiges Erfassen der Pflanzenwelt in den Bereich des M\u00f6glichen. Allerdings sind einige Ecken der Inseln sehr steil und kaum oder gar nicht begehbar.<\/p>\n<p>Meine Untersuchungen beschr\u00e4nken sich bislang auf die Insel \u00c1gios Nik\u00f3laos, die gr\u00f6\u00dfte der drei Inseln; ich hoffe, dass ich Gelegenheit haben werde, auch die anderen zu besuchen. In mehreren kurzen Ausfl\u00fcgen zur Insel (November 2025, Februar und M\u00e4rz 2026) habe ich einen ersten Anlauf zur Erfassung der Flora gemacht; es fehlen nat\u00fcrlich noch die Arten, die erst sp\u00e4ter im Fr\u00fchling und im Sommer bl\u00fchen (von einigen wenigen Arten hatte ich Fotos von fr\u00fcheren Besuchen). Einige der f\u00fcr die Makares-Inseln angegebenen Arten habe ich noch nicht gesehen, wobei diese nat\u00fcrlich auch auf die anderen zwei Inseln der Inselgruppe beschr\u00e4nkt sein k\u00f6nnen. Auf der anderen Seite kann ich eine Reihe von Arten hinzuf\u00fcgen, gut 30 Arten bislang, von denen einige vielleicht Neuank\u00f6mmlinge oder unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig vorkommende Arten sind, w\u00e4hrend andere m\u00f6glicherweise  bislang \u00fcbersehen worden waren.<\/p>\n<p>Im Folgenden stelle ich die Arten vor, die ich bislang angetroffen habe und die in Bl\u00fcte waren. die Makares-Inseln \\u00f6stlich von Naxos sind - nach dem \\\"Atlas of the Aegean Flora\\\" von Arne Strid - bislang etwa 150 Pflanzenarten verzeichnet: Im Vergleich zu Naxos mit seinen etwa 1000 Arten eine \\u00fcberschaubare Zahl! Dabei ist nicht nur interessant, was f\\u00fcr Arten auf den Inseln vorkommen, sondern auch, welche Arten fehlen. Man kann jede der Inseln in einem Tag bequem begehen; so r\\u00fcckt ein vollst\\u00e4ndiges Erfassen der Pflanzenwelt in den Bereich des M\\u00f6glichen. Allerdings sind einige Ecken der Inseln sehr steil und kaum oder gar nicht begehbar.\\n\n\n<p><\\\/p>\\nMeine Untersuchungen beschr\\u00e4nken sich bislang auf die Insel \\u00c1gios Nik\\u00f3laos, die gr\\u00f6\\u00dfte der drei Inseln; ich hoffe, dass ich Gelegenheit haben werde, auch die anderen zu besuchen. In mehreren kurzen Ausfl\\u00fcgen zur Insel (November 2025, Februar und M\\u00e4rz 2026) habe ich einen ersten Anlauf zur Erfassung der Flora gemacht; es fehlen nat\\u00fcrlich noch die Arten, die erst sp\\u00e4ter im Fr\\u00fchling und im Sommer bl\\u00fchen (von einigen wenigen Arten hatte ich Fotos von fr\\u00fcheren Besuchen). Einige der f\\u00fcr die Makares-Inseln angegebenen Arten habe ich noch nicht gesehen, wobei diese nat\\u00fcrlich auch auf die anderen zwei Inseln der Inselgruppe beschr\\u00e4nkt sein k\\u00f6nnen. Auf der anderen Seite kann ich eine Reihe von Arten hinzuf\\u00fcgen, gut 30 Arten bislang, von denen einige vielleicht Neuank\\u00f6mmlinge oder unregelm\\u00e4\\u00dfig vorkommende Arten sind, w\\u00e4hrend andere m\\u00f6glicherweise  bislang \\u00fcbersehen worden waren.\\n\n\n<p><\\\/p>\\nIm Folgenden stelle ich die Arten vor, die ich bislang angetroffen habe und die in Bl\\u00fcte waren. Die Fotos der Arten <em>Brassica cretica<\\\/em>, <em>Campanula reiseri<\\\/em> und <em>Euphorbia dendroides<\\\/em> wurden mir freundlicherweise von Tasos Dimalexis zur Verf\\u00fcgung gestellt.\",\"content_en_gb\":\"According to Arne Strid\\u2019s \\\"Atlas of the Aegean Flora\\\", around 150 plant species have so far been recorded for the Makares Islands east of Naxos: a modest number compared to Naxos, which is home to around 1,000 species. It is interesting not only to see which species occur on the islands, but also which are absent. Each of the islands can be comfortably explored in a day; thus, a complete survey of the flora becomes possible with reasonable effort. However, some parts of the islands are very steep and barely accessible, if at all.\\n\n\n<p><\\\/p>\\nMy investigations have so far been limited to the island of \\u00c1gios Nik\\u00f3laos, the largest of the three; I hope to have the opportunity to visit the other islands as well. During several short trips to the island (November 2025, February and March 2026), I made an initial attempt to record the flora; naturally, the species that flower later in spring and in summer are still missing (I had photos of a few species from earlier visits). I have not yet seen some of the species listed for the Makares Islands, although these may, of course, be restricted to the other two islands in the archipelago.
