Abgesehen von den nat\u00fcrlichen Sch\u00f6nheiten gibt es viele interessante Denkm\u00e4ler, Geb\u00e4ude, Ruinen und Ausgrabungsst\u00e4tten zu besichtigen.<\/p>\n<p><big>E<\/big>ntsprechend der langen und bewegten <a href=\"https:\/\/azalas.de\/naxos-geschichte\/\">Geschichte<\/a> sind auf der Insel \u00dcberreste aus vielen verschiedenen Epochen zu finden, angefangen von der Stein- und der Bronzezeit \u00fcber die archaische Zeit und die klassische Antike bis zur byzantinischen Epoche und dem Mittelalter. Au\u00dferdem finden sich \u00fcberall Zeugnisse und Spuren der neuzeitlichen traditionellen Selbstversorger-Wirtschaft der letzten Jahrhunderte. Zu den Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten von Naxos geh\u00f6ren beispielsweise Tempel und Heiligt\u00fcmer, uralte Gr\u00e4berfelder und Siedlungsreste, antike Statuen, Wasserleitungen und Br\u00fccken, Festungen verschiedenen Alters, Wehrt\u00fcrme, Kirchen und Kl\u00f6ster, Schmirgelminen und traditionelle \u00d6l-, Wasser- und Windm\u00fchlen.<\/p>\n<p><big>A<\/big>uf diesen Seiten bem\u00fche ich mich, nicht nur die bekannten Denkm\u00e4ler der Insel vorzustellen, die meist gut zug\u00e4nglich und mit Schildern und Erl\u00e4uterungen versehen sind, sondern auch die weniger bekannten, die oft ebenso interessant sind und die man noch auf eigene Faust entdecken kann und muss.
